Colorful Lilies growing out of a small Plant

Lilium (members of which are true lilies) is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants growing from bulbs, all with large prominent flowers.

Lilies are an important group of flowering plants and are important in culture and literature in much of the world. Most species are native to the temperate northern hemisphere, though their range and extends into northern subtropics.

This painting here depicts multi-colored lilies growing out of a small plant. Combination of shades of glass paints of red-purple, orange-lemon and dark & light blue have been used for the flowers. The colored flowers amongst the shaded green leaves look prominent. The golden fiber frame and the frosted glass effect add elegancy to the overall glass painting.
