This is an adaptation of another Jamini Roy painting on glass. The painting depicts the image of Lord Krishna as a cowherd. As a frame, strips of etched mirrors with sliced corners has been pasted at the edges of the painted glass to match with the overall dignity of the painting.
This attractive glass painting homes a tribute to the great Indian painter Jamini Roy with one of his eminent works - the Pujarini.
The painting has been done on pinhead glass using transparent glass colors, black glass liner and white acrylic color and framed with a thick brown frame. No metallic shades have been used in order to retain the matte look of the image.
